Woo! My first fan art! This is Azula from the show Avatar last airbender.

I didn't see enough good arts of her in DA, so I thought to myself: "Why not make one then?" And this is what came out of my thought!

She may be hot...but too hot to handle!!!:evillaugh:

Enjoy! =D

I like this piece! It's really well done!

What is it you said to the kid? It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward...
She IS hot. In more than one way. XD

Much  for Azula. She's one of my favorite characters.

If I say something that could be taken in more than one way, and one of those ways is offensive to you, I meant it the other way.
This is really good! I like it very much!

I just viewed your thread on Gaia. And I thought I would give my comment here.

First the good things: The pose, is lovely. Well planned, and done. You picked colors that work well with one another, and a background that wouldn’t overshadow the subject.

Things you need to work on: Skin tones, profile of the female face, lighting, and, coloring.

You have a good understanding of some things, but others, not so much. I’ll start with the female profile.

You have drawn her face to be very much like the side of a box. Flat, no curves after the nose. A woman’s face is curvy. Very little, if any, flat lines.

Skin tones. The skin has many different colors mixed into it. Blues, reds, purples, greens. You need to learn to paint with those colors. Not the burn tool. Not just one color. This goes for the clothes as well. And anything else you might do. They have many different colors in them too. Even if the item looks like it only has one color, it really has many. If you want to learn how to paint, you must learn how colors work, and how they bring life into the painting.

Your lighting here…. Doesn’t work I guess is the nice way of putting it. Your lighting her from many different places, and that makes it very confusing to the viewer. Also, it makes everything in the image look flat. There should be one, maybe two light sources. No more. (Until you have a better understand of light anyway.)
